About Me
WHY ME?
I have over thirteen years experience in digital media planning & strategy for a number of media agencies, including PHD and MediaCom. I have worked across a number of different sectors including Finance, Automotive, Grocery retail, and Entertainment - most recently leading the digital strategy for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Universal Music.
During my time on Universal Music, I worked on the strategy behind the successful new product launches for SpinnUp and GIGBuddy in the UK. I have also worked on campaigns that have been recognised at the Media Week Awards.
In the last few years, I co-established the BLINK UK department at MediaCom, which focused on startup engagement to source new and emerging tech solutions and innovative startups that we could introduce to our clients. We organised showcase events and hosted in-house strategy workshops to help engage with startups. We also helped to develop white label solutions through startup / corporate partnerships. During this period, we managed to successfully support startups and helped them navigate around media agencies, resulting in repeat paid-for campaigns.
I also have experience in startups, having worked on the launch strategy for a limited edition T-Shirt company, called FATKyds.
Last year, I took a step further in to entrepreneurship by founding my own business - a Premium Wine gift company called Capsule Wine.
In addition to this, I have started an Associate Lecturing role at Oxford Brookes, where I help teach Business, Media and Marketing Undergraduates. I also help with the Entrepreneurship programme, being a judge on their last FUEL Awards event. Oxford Brookes
